Avrupa Extends Warrant Expiry Date

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 14, 2011) - Avrupa Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:AVU) has received approval from the TSX Venture Exchange to extend the term of certain warrants which would otherwise expire on January 8, 2012.

5,714,284 warrants granted on July 8, 2010 with the original expiry date of January 8, 2012, are now extended to expire on January 8, 2013, with each warrant entitling the holder to purchase one common share of the Company at $0.50 per share.
