With more than 20 years' experience in technology, development and managing the innovation of new software products, Murchison will broaden Narus' product portfolio to expand the company's business in North America, the Middle East, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Narus will also draw upon Murchison's extensive security experience to help bolster Narus' cyber security and traffic analytics businesses, an objective set forth by The Boeing Company when it acquired Narus in August.
Over the course of his career, Murchison has held executive-level positions in product management with Code Green Networks, Juniper Networks, Netscreen Technologies and Blue Coat Systems, and is considered a pioneer in the fields of data security, networking and identity protection. He is a named inventor of several U.S. and foreign patents in network security, authentication and authorization, and broadband multimedia services. Murchison has a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
