American Defense Systems Reports Third Quarter 2009 Financial Results

HICKSVILLE, NY--(Marketwire - November 23, 2009) - American Defense Systems, Inc. (ADSI) (<exchange name="NYSE Amex">NYSE Amex</exchange>: <ticker name="EAG">EAG</ticker>), a leading provider of advanced transparent and opaque armor,
architectural hardening and security products for Defense and Homeland
Security, reported financial results for the third quarter ended September
30, 2009.

Q3 2009 Financial Results
Revenues from continuing operations in the third quarter of 2009 decreased
31% to $12.6 million from $18.3 million in the same year-ago quarter. The
decrease in revenue in the third quarter of 2009 was primarily due to a
delay in the acceptance of a large completed order for Mac-50 cranes which
were shipped at the start of the fourth quarter of 2009. Revenue from the
company's physical security product business increased 121% to $1.2 million
from $543,000 in the same year-ago quarter.

American Defense Systems Introduces the COBRA Protective Shield

HICKSVILLE, NY--(Marketwire - November 23, 2009) - American Defense Systems, Inc. (ADSI) (<exchange name="NYSE Amex">NYSE Amex</exchange>: <ticker name="EAG">EAG</ticker>), a leading provider of advanced transparent and opaque armor,
architectural hardening and security products for Defense and Homeland
Security, has introduced a new portable transparent protective shield
called "COBRA," for Collapsible Optic Bullet Resistant Armor.

The COBRA is designed primarily for the purpose of VIP protection with its
ability to easily roll through standard doorways and onto elevators. The
design provides broader coverage than ADSI's Portable Transparent Ballistic
Shield ("PTBS"), while being more portable than the PTBS due to its
collapsible capability. This also allows for more potential applications,
like in a VIP's hotel room, at public speaking engagements, and for outer
perimeter security enhancement.
