Mr. Birnie brings over twenty years of proven success in marketing (including hosted telephony customer acquisition & retention), sales, business development, and product management for B2B and B2C market segments. Birnie will lead the development and execution of marketing and communications strategies that support business and market share growth, while building brand equity and awareness.

Before joining WVT Communications Group, Birnie served as Vice President and General Manager of New Business Growth and Cloud Services for Panasonic and was responsible for its business communications product portfolio. Key responsibilities included the launch of cloud services and applications for small and medium businesses (SMB), full HD videoconferencing, IP PBX telephony, wired and wireless security solutions for home and business, Panasonic's Android-based applications portfolio, and 4G/LTE enabled solutions. Mr. Birnie's additional experience includes executive positions with Motorola, Lucent, and Comcast.
