Westcore Announces Completion of Field Data Acquisition on Riverside Lands


SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN--(Marketwire - Oct. 31, 2012) -

WESTCORE ENERGY LTD. (TSX VENTURE:WTR) ("Westcore" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that further to its press release dated October 17, 2012 announcing the completion of shooting a 3D seismic program on the Riverside Lands located in South West Saskatchewan, the field data acquisition is now complete.

The Riverside Lands encompass 31,360 acres of multi zone (Basal Manville and Detrital zones) heavy oil play and Viking gas play. A first pass interpretation of the data has identified multiple drill targets. The Company is currently analyzing over 12 potential drill locations to identify zones with the highest porosity potential. The Company plans to initiate a new drill program in cooperation with Allstar Energy Limited at Riverside based on the interpreted data before year end.
