IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - Oct 11, 2012) - In its continual effort to further its mission of engaging audiences and encouraging creative video from producers and advertisers, video solutions company OneScreen Inc. announced today it has partnered with The One Club, serving as a sponsor of the global OneScreen Festival (not related to or affiliated with OneScreen Inc.). The One Club created and produces the OneScreen awards competition to honor and celebrate short film and video makers around the world who go beyond the standard to make truly engaging creative content and advertising.
"As an organization we are continually seeking new ways to live by our mission of giving people more access to watch content where, when, and how they want," reflects OneScreen Inc. CEO Atul Patel. "Part of this effort will involve joining forces with other leaders within the creative community. Supporting The One Club in their promotion of the brightest independent film and video work and the media companies behind them allows us to commend the stakeholders involved in transforming digital video."
The short film and video competition has attracted some of the world's most innovative and visually arresting work in the creative community. OneScreen Festival winners will be revealed on November 8, 2012, at a special awards presentation and screening in New York City. One winning entry will take top honors in each of the five competition categories: Narrative, Documentary, Music Video, Animation, and Branded Content. Honors also will go to Best Director, Cinematographer, Writer and Editor, and one entry will be named overall "Best in Show." Finalists now are being selected by the prestigious jury comprised of leading directors, producers, and creatives in the media industries, including former Official White House Videographer Arun Chaudhary, comedian/actor Rick Overton, and film critic Michael Knowles.
"We're delighted to have OneScreen Inc. join us as a sponsor of our 2012 OneScreen Festival," says Kevin Swanepoel, president at The One Club. "Both of our respective organizations share a mission to inspire and enable creative excellence, and we value their generous support in this effort."
