Tom McGraw Has Joined Noridian as President and CEO

Extensive Federal, State and Health Industry Experience Will Support Noridian's Expansion


FARGO, ND--(Marketwired - Apr 18, 2013) - Tom McGraw has joined Noridian Administrative Services (Noridian), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Noridian Mutual Insurance Company, as the second president and chief executive officer to lead the company as it expands its service offerings throughout the country.

McGraw has served as an expert on government health care programs, program integrity, managed care and payment methodologies to health plans, federal and state government agencies, state legislatures and Congress. He has worked with Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE and other health care programs and has been at the forefront of numerous health industry advancements including consumer directed care, health homes, health insurance exchanges, Web-based consumer health care information and evidenced-based medicine.

Prior to joining Noridian, McGraw served as senior vice president of business development at Amerigroup Corporation and senior vice president of government solutions and government program integrity at OptumInsight, a UnitedHealth Group company focused on health technology. He also held executive positions at MAXIMUS Inc., and the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., McGraw also holds a master's degree in economics from Old Dominion University and completed doctoral studies in business at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. He is a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute near Charlottesville, Va. He retired from the Naval Reserves in 2005.
