The CMO Club Announces Vendor Rating Program for CMOs

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Mar 7, 2013) - The CMO Club, the world's most prestigious club for top marketing executives, today announced the rollout of a CMOs only vendor rating program. The program allows marketing heads to privately share recommendations on marketing vendors across 18 product and services categories. All 700 members of the CMO Club will be participating and sharing ratings in the program.

According to CMO Club founder and president Peter Krainik, "The CMO Club Vendor Rating program is a response to CMOs member demand for a way to gain insights from peers on 'best in class' products and services, agencies, PR firms and consultants. They feel no recommendation is more valuable than those from peers."

"Until now, CMOs have been heavily reliant on analyst and RFP processes which is often as helpful as the budget and time you have to support those resources," said Evan Greene, CMO of The Recording Academy. Carol Godfrey, CMO at Southwire, noted, "CMO Club Vendor Ratings allows the very hi-touch ability for us to gain immediate feedback from a trusted community of professionals that share our goals and are responsible for driving similar results for their companies. I, as I know are many of my peers, am very excited!"

This is the first CMO peer based, exclusive, vendor-rating program in the world. The rating and recommendations are only open to CMO Club members. The CMO Club, does however, plan to acknowledge the "top" products/services, agencies, PR firms and consultants during select events and reports.
