DETROIT MI--(Marketwire - Nov 21, 2012) - The Detroit Lions take on the Houston Texans at Ford Field in Detroit. Kickoff is at 12:30 eastern and is being televised on CBS. The Houston Texans barely beat out the Jacksonville Jaguars 43-37 on Sunday and on short rest are playing in Detroit. This starts a big 3 game stretch for the Texans. So watch for them to come out strong on national television. Running back Arian Foster has run for more than 100 yards in his last 5 away games. The Lion defense has allowed only 3 rushing TD's all year so this is a big key to watch out for.
At 4:25 the Washington Redskins play the Dallas Cowboys at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The current spread has the cowboys favored by 3.5 points. In this game Coopers Pick is looking at who can stop the big plays. The Redskins are excellent at doing that as they proved against the Philadelphia Eagles. Quarterback RG3 is a huge factor in this game. It's a fresh start between the Dallas defense and Robert Griffin III. With a national game like this the world will be watching as the star tends to thrive when thrown into the spotlight.
In the NFC East RG III has completed 34 out of 43 passes for 458 yards with 6 TD's and only 1 interception. This is the game to watch and profit off of with Coopers 2 team parlay.
Heading to New York the Jets take on the New England Patriots at Metlife stadium at 8:20 p.m. on NBC. The temperature is forecasted to be in the low 30s and the oddsmakers have the Pats favored by 6.5 points. Without Gronkowski all season this will be interesting to see how the team adjusts to play on Thanksgiving day with a short break from Sundays game.
The Jets have too many problems to list here but they are trying to figure them out game by game. Cornerback Antonio Cromartie has been very strong this season and their defense may just save them without Gronkowski on the opposing side.
