InnVision Shelter Network (ivsn.org), a leading provider of housing and supportive services for homeless families and individuals on the Peninsula/Silicon Valley, will host its 2012 Benefit Breakfast on Thursday, October 4 from 7:30am to 9:00am at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Burlingame.
The Benefit Breakfast program includes a keynote address by author and television host Suze Orman. Through her award-winning books, television show, and motivational speeches, Suze Orman empowers people to take charge of their personal finances to build stable, balanced and happy lives. InnVision Shelter Network's service methodology echoes Orman's message -- investing in long-term solutions to poverty, such as financial literacy education, that enable individuals to secure permanent housing and become fully self-sufficient.
The Benefit Breakfast program also includes CEO remarks, award presentations to outstanding volunteers and supporters, and a testimonial by a Veteran client living in the shelter. Event sponsorships and day-of donations fund InnVision Shelter Network's housing programs and supportive services for homeless men, women and children.

The Benefit Breakfast is the largest event of its kind on the Peninsula, hosted annually since Shelter Network's founding 25 years ago. This year marks the first Benefit Breakfast since Shelter Network merged with InnVision the Way Home, a Silicon Valley nonprofit working to end homelessness.
