He brings more than 15 years of executive and marketing experience and as the CMO his worldwide responsibilities include increasing revenue and brand awareness of Spigit to deliver cloud-based applications that harness the power of the crowd to stimulate innovation and engagement.

Mr. Khiyara comes to Spigit from Taleo where he was the Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer and drove significant results leading to the acquisition of Taleo by Oracle. During his tenure the Company grew successfully, established a robust pipeline and positioned itself as a leader in the market with differentiated messaging, resulting in significant new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
Prior to Taleo, he was the Senior Vice President and General Manager for EVault, the Cloud services business unit of Seagate Technologies, where he drove significant growth (40 percent in 12 months) through innovative product positioning, demand generation and channel marketing in the Cloud Storage market.
Mr. Khiyara was previously at Verisign, where he established and drove the European go-to-market strategy, successfully positioned the Verisign brand in multiple geographies and drove revenue and significant customer acquisition of Fortune 1000 companies. Mr. Khiyara has also held senior leadership roles at Autodesk and Bechtel.
Shail Khiyara holds an MBA from Yale University, completed the Strategic Leadership Program from Harvard Business School and has an MS in Engineering.
