SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 17, 2012) - Dreamforce -- SFVision Technologies, Inc., an innovator in developing mobile apps for Salesforce users, today announced SFVision for Salesforce™, the industry's first and only Salesforce iPad application specifically designed for the mobile sales professional. SFVision for Salesforce makes it possible to leverage critical Salesforce sales data and significantly increases visibility into and control of accounts, opportunities, contacts, and events from an iPad. The company will be demonstrating SFVision for Salesforce at Dreamforce 2012, booth #243.
"For much too long mobile sales warriors have dealt with the frustrations and challenges of operating Salesforce remotely. They want deeper account visibility and an easy way to add or update account, contact and opportunity information while on the road. Most often, mobile sales teams consider Salesforce a time consuming tool only useful for management reporting," said Kevin Mooney, President and CEO of SFVision.
"SFVision believes in the power of Salesforce data for the mobile sales warrior. Our development efforts are focused on accelerating productivity and Salesforce account control with an easy to use, intuitive iPad interface," continued Mooney.
SFVision's first release for the iPad app enables mobile salespeople to:
- See all contacts in an account, laid out in an organizational view, with icons indicating strategic information like contact roles and sentiments
- Use "Drag and Drop" to setup or fix "Reports To" alignment with the Salesforce data updated automatically
- Create a new contact or node on the Salesforce organizational tree with a simple click
- Drag a contact from iPad contacts to the organization tree and have a new contact record automatically created in Salesforce with roles and reporting
- Do the same new contact creation from a vCard on an iPad email or a QR code using the iPad camera
- Have full Salesforce calendar and iPad iCal integration for both connected and disconnected event management
"Top performing sales people need to easily enter and quickly find sales data while they are away from the office and on the run. SFVision for Salesforce not only makes Salesforce easy to use but it also improves the visualization and meaningfulness of Salesforce data," said Tom Neary, CEO of OpCon Technologies, Inc. and an early user of SFVision.
