Sage Supports National Health Center Week for 5th Consecutive Year

TAMPA, FL--(Marketwire - Aug 8, 2011) - Sage today announced that for the fifth consecutive year, it is officially supporting National Health Center Week (August 7 - 13, 2011) by offering volunteer assistance at community health centers across the country during the week through its ProjectSERVS (Sage Employees Reaching out with Volunteer Service), as well as making financial contributions to CHC causes.

National Health Center Week is an annual celebration designed to raise awareness about the valuable work that community health centers do. During this week, health centers across the country host events to educate people on healthcare and the types of services provided by the centers. Many events feature free health screenings, food and refreshments, prominent speakers and more.

"This is one week where CHCs are really highlighted for the work they do for the members of the communities in which they serve," said Beth Wrobel, CEO of HealthLinc, Inc., a community health center. "Many people don't know there is help out there. Last year during national CHC week, we added 1,000 new patients during the month, meaning that's 1,000 more people served than otherwise would have been without this effort.
