LONDON--(Marketwire - Sep 10, 2012) - Research Now, the leading global online sampling and data collection company, today announced the launch of its online campaign measurement technology, ADimension™, now available to the Irish market. First launched in North America and the United Kingdom in May 2011, Research Now's offering provides advertisers with a sustainable, permission-based measurement methodology for evaluating online ad campaigns.
Utilising Quantcast's online measurement tool and Research Now's global opinion panels, ADimension technology provides granular impression, demographic and profile data of opted-in respondents and their opinions, attitudes and behaviour toward ads, promotions and products. Research Now's opinion panellists are made aware of the measurement process, offering the ability to survey millions of consumers while ensuring permission-based data collection that complies with European privacy laws.
"Online advertising spend overtook that of television for the first time in 2011 to become the largest advertising medium in Britain, and Ireland is on a similar growth path," said Andrew O'Connell, Vice President of Client Development at Research Now. "While traditional metrics are able to provide useable top-level information on the ROI of online campaigns, more in-depth measurement will be required as online advertising becomes a more significant part of the media mix."
Research Now is able to collect survey data for both exposed panellists and control groups of non-exposed panellists in an effort to provide clients with a better understanding of the impact of their overall campaign. Research is thus based on the actual demographic exposure to the campaign.
O'Connell continued: "Our ADimension technology will enable media planners, researchers and advertisers to gather insights into the minds of their target audiences, and to evaluate the effectiveness of online campaigns, by answering key questions related to messaging and impact on the brand."
Research Now's ADimension technology is currently available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Australia and New Zealand -- offering the ability to measure ad campaigns globally.
