Rescheduling of Exploration Program
The Board of Colombian Mineral Resources Plc ("CMR" or the "Company") would like to announce that
given the partial failure in the placing of the Company's shares as announced on the 28th of
September 2012 the planned exploration program referred to in the admission document has been
temporarily rescheduled. CMR is concentrating all its efforts to stabilize its financial situation
and to allow it to continue with its planned operational and financial activities.
Mr. Boris Cordovez, Chief Executive Officer of CMR commented, "CMR is dedicating all its resources to
securing additional working capital for the company, in order for it to meet its goals and
objectives, and to develop the Company into the type of progressive coal exploration and production
company envisaged at the time of our introduction to the market. We have a great team, great projects
and we are working firmly together to turn around the company. I thank all involved, particularly
investors, members of the team at CMR and our advisers for their continuing support and understanding
and we are determined to get back on track at the earliest possible time".
