GATINEAU, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Aug. 9, 2012) - Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists of periodic lane reductions on the Chaudière Crossing on Thursday, August 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

During that time, one lane in each direction will remain open.

Pedestrians will not be affected by the lane reductions, but cyclists will be required to walk their bikes on the sidewalk through the construction zone.

These reductions are necessary to conduct general maintenance on the crossing.

The schedule may change due to weather conditions.

Public Works and Government Services Canada encourages users to exercise caution when travelling in the construction zone and thanks them for their patience.
