GATINEAU, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - March 3, 2012) - Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists of temporary bridge closures on the Chaudière Crossing. On the weekends of March 3-4, and March 17-18, 2012, the Chaudière Crossing will be closed in both directions between the hours of 7 a.m. on Saturday until 7 p.m. on Sunday.

These closures will not affect pedestrians, but will require cyclists to walk their bikes on the sidewalk through the construction zone.

These lanes closures are necessary to allow the removal of the scaffolding trusses on a section of the bridge.

Public Works and Government Services Canada encourages users to exercise caution when travelling in the construction zone and thanks them for their patience.
