GATINEAU, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - July 4, 2012) - Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists of nighttime bridge closures on the Alexandra Bridge from Wednesday, July 4 through Friday, July 6, 2012.

The Alexandra Bridge will be closed between the hours of 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4 until 5 a.m. on Thursday, July 5 and again from 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 5 until 5 a.m. on Friday, July 6. There will be no boardwalk closures during these periods, so pedestrians will not be affected.

These bridge closures are necessary to conduct general maintenance.

The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
