TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 31, 2012) - The Toronto Civic Employees Union, Local 416 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE 416), in cooperation with Ward 28 Councillor Pam McConnell, will co-host a family-friendly outdoor movie night, this Friday, August 3, at 8:15 p.m. in the courtyard behind 275 Bleecker Street.
To provide a community entertainment experience in an area cared for by Local 416 members, Councillor McConnell and CUPE 416 will present a free showing of the beloved Dr. Seuss classic, 'The Lorax'. All residents need to bring is a lawn chair or a blanket. Local 416 will also provide unlimited free snow cones and popcorn to children of all ages!
