TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 1, 2012) - The single most anticipated concert event of the millennium is at hand. Newzapalooza, Toronto's Media Battle of the Bands, is Friday, Nov. 2 at Toronto's storied Opera House (735 Queen St. East, in the heart of trendy Leslieville) and it is not to be missed. Immaculate host Jaymz Bee will lead a supercharged panel of celebrity judges as they give seven fabulous media bands a thorough working over. Judges include comic and radio host Dave Martin, comic and actor Naomi Snieckus and city councillor Doug Ford, who will all help put the bash in media bash.
This year's lineup includes bands from the Toronto Sun, the Globe and Mail, The Canadian Press, Jazz FM, Thomson Reuters, CityTV and the defending champions from the Toronto Star.
Special guest stars Bonzai Suzuki will bring the funk and a raft of coveted door prizes will be handed out, including Dinner & Night's Stay at the Delta Chelsea Hotel; A Raptor's Package: Watch the game from the Toronto Sun Box with food & booze & signed Raptor's Jersey; Dinner for two at Prohibition Gastropub; A night at Pantages Hotel and a pass for two Martinis and Manicure night.
