New Mexico Regional Extension Center Selects Sage as an Appropriate and Qualified Electronic Health Records Provider

Sage a Leader Among EHR Providers in United States Selected by RECs


TAMPA, FL--(Marketwire - Apr 22, 2011) - Sage Healthcare Division announced today that it has been named an appropriate and qualified vendor of the New Mexico Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center (NM HITREC). Serving more than 400,000 healthcare professionals, including 80,000 physicians in North America, Sage will make its ONC-ATCB certified Sage Intergy Meaningful Use Edition available to the REC's more than 1,000 participating physicians.

Dedicated to physicians being served by RECs, Sage has previously aligned with RECs throughout the U.S. including New York eHealth Collaborative, Ohio Health Information Partnership, Missouri Health Information Technology Assistance Center, HITArkansas, Massachusetts eHealth Institute and South Florida Regional Extension Center.

Ken Ernsting, vice president of business development for Sage Healthcare Division, said Sage Intergy Meaningful Use Edition is a certified meaningful use software solution designed to empower physicians to advance the quality and efficiency of care they deliver.

Providers can access Sage Intergy Meaningful Use Edition from multiple practice or remote locations, or as a Sage-hosted solution on a monthly subscription basis.

Sage Healthcare Division is currently an approved vendor partner of more than 20 RECs, placing it among the top vendors in the United States to be named a preferred partner by regional extension centers awarding the distinction.
