DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - Jun 25, 2012) - Denver's famous Banjo Billy tour bus is now offering a Denver Brewery Tour that includes stops at four well-known Denver area breweries. Starting at the Wynkoop Brewing Company, the Banjo Billy Bus will take tourists to the Breckenridge Brewery, Strange Brewing Company and Denver Beer Co.
If you've ever seen the Banjo Billy tour bus in Denver or Boulder, you know that the converted school bus is really a "hillbilly shack on wheels" that shows tourists around Boulder and Denver. For years, Banjo Billy has specialized in offering Denver and Boulder history tours that include little-known historical details about Denver and Boulder. Today, however, Banjo Billy now offers Denver brewery tours.
The Banjo Billy brewery tour includes visits to four breweries over the course of 3 hours, with behind-the-scenes information about each brewery's process as well as the history of each brewery. When traveling between breweries, the Banjo Billy tour staff will talk about Denver's brewing industry and the city's nationally recognized role in the beer business.
In addition to brewery tours and transportation, the tour also includes 3 pints of locally brewed beer.
Denver's newest beer tour begins Thursdays at 5:15 p.m. at the Wynkoop Brewing Company, located at 18th and Wynkoop, across from Union Station.
Tickets are required to take the brewery tour and advance reservations are highly recommended. Visit www.banjobilly.com to check tour availability and purchase tickets for an upcoming tour.
