BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - Jul 25, 2012) - Netwatch USA, a remote visual surveillance company, today announced that it has moved its office location from a temporary space in Medford to a more permanent location in Watertown, Mass.
The company, who launched in the U.S. in February 2012, chose the Watertown location due to its accessibility to metro Boston and the Route 128 technology belt. It has already made solid inroads in the automotive and warehousing industries and the new office location helps optimize its growth in the U.S. market. The company, by investing more than $4 million in its expansion into North America, plans to create 50 jobs over the next 12 months. 30 jobs will be created between its Boston and Carlow operations by the end of 2012. Long term plans include building a U.S. Communications Hub as well.
"Netwatch USA is a perfect addition to the Arsenal, located in the heart of the East Coast's center for technology and R&D," said Suzanne Alter, General Manager of the Arsenal on the Charles. "The company will join Harvard and a bustling technology industry in greater Cambridge. We're certain that its new location will allow Netwatch to maintain its growth plan while continuing to provide a high level of customer service for its clients."
With over 35,000 crimes prevented since inception in Ireland in 2003, the Netwatch system deploys the most advanced video processing technologies to alert its Communication Hub to unacceptable behavior on a clients' property. Intervention Specialists direct operations through remote CCTV monitoring and intervene as soon as security is breached by alerting the intruders they are being watched and the police have been informed.
"We've found a location that is able to grow with us," says Netwatch CEO David Walsh. "Suzanne Alter and the staff at the Arsenal understand and mirror our passion for customer service, company culture and corporate responsibility -- allowing us to maintain our plans for growth while keeping the focus on our customers."
