ROMFORD, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - July 19, 2012) - Neopost Limited, one of the UK's leading manufacturers of mailroom solutions, announced today, that after a competitive tendering process via OJEU procurement procedures it has been selected as one of 4 approved suppliers on the National Franking Machine Agreement (NFMA).
The NFMA is the result of a collaborative approach between Advanced Procurement for Universities & Colleges (APUC), on behalf of higher education's National Postal and Distribution Group (NPDG), and other Scottish procurement bodies. Therefore, Higher Education Institutions across the UK and all Scottish public sector organisations can access the Framework Agreement.
The Framework Agreement, worth up to £5m annually, has been awarded for an initial period of three years, with options to extend. This new agreement (reference BA-PMR010) offers customers significant savings in cost and efficiencies and offers a fully compliant procurement route. The benefits that can be derived from the agreement are fully aligned with the need to increase procurement efficiencies and protect the public purse.
Neopost Limited is well placed to service this contract, being the only supplier from its industry to have served the wider public sector for over 15 consecutive years, via compliant framework agreements.
