The Quartet (Everton Gloeden, Gustavo Costa, Tadeu do Amaral, and Luiz Mantovani) acted as artist and producer on the winning recording, which marks the first ever Latin GRAMMY® victory for the BGQ and the Delos label.
"It is wonderful to have this recognition for the BGQ, whose status in Brazil is iconic, both for their consummate arrangements and their dazzling performances. This is BQG's fifth recording with Delos and we consider each to be a masterpiece," said Carol Rosenberger, Delos Music General Director.
Praised by the Washington Post for their "seductive beauty" and "virtuosic gusto," the Brazilian Guitar Quartet (http://www.brazilianguitarquartet.com/) has established itself as one of world's leading guitar ensembles.
