N-able Technologies Expands Market Reach and Sales Potential With New Ingram Micro Distribution Relationship

New North America Distribution Agreement Broadens Reach and Opens New Online Marketplace for N-able's Remote Monitoring and Management Automation Software and Complementary Tool Sets

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - Jun 2, 2011) - N-able Technologies®, the global leader in remote monitoring and management (RMM) automation software for managed service providers (MSPs) and IT departments, today announced an alliance with the Services Division of Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) to offer its N-central 8.0 RMM platform and complementary tools sets across North America via the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace. The announcement was made at the Ingram Micro Cloud Summit, held this week at the Arizona Grand Resort in Phoenix.

Starting soon, N-central 8.0 can be purchased by Ingram Micro solution providers and MSPs as part of the distributor's growing IT cloud services portfolio, which can be found at www.ingrammicrocloud.com. In addition, N-able's Security Manager Endpoint and Anti-spam as well as Audit Manager and Report Manager products will also be offered through the distributor.

Under terms of the North American agreement, N-able and Ingram Micro will work together to provide the technology, resources and expertise required by MSPs and solution providers to earn recurring revenues, reduce service costs and increase customer satisfaction by offering proactive managed services to their end customers in a cloud, software-as-a-service or on-premise model.

"For N-able, the alliance represents an opportunity to broaden our reach while increasing brand awareness by taking part in what is fast becoming the IT industry's most comprehensive portfolio of cloud services available to channel partners throughout North America," said JP Jauvin, president and chief operating officer for N-able. "In addition, we look forward to participating at a higher level in the overall cloud community, engaging with other key cloud vendors to strengthen the health of the IT channel, and building long-term success with our mutual channel partners."

Launched in May, N-central 8.0 offers the industry's most advanced, remote IT automation technology and business-oriented support services. Through use of the software, MSPs and IT professionals can remotely manage and effectively support up to 750 devices per technician. Boasting a unique hybrid licensing model that eliminates the barriers to deploying RMM, N-central allows MSPs and solution providers to:

  • Efficiently and easily automate a wide range of IT services and routine tasks for customers
  • Proactively and effectively deliver services to customers in a cost- and time-optimized way
  • Report on the performance of IT services with ease and detail
  • Monitor the availability and performance of devices with rules-based notifications that are always received by the right person at the right time

"RMM is an area that offers great recurring revenue potential, and as a key player in this market, N-able brings proven solutions to the table as well as valuable insight that is sure to benefit our growing cloud services community," says Renée Bergeron, vice president, managed services and cloud computing for Ingram Micro. "We look to partners such as N-able to add depth to our cloud offerings and to drive our customers' expansion into new markets."
