myWebDB Takes Do-It-Yourself Web 2.0 Applications to New Level of Ease and Power
New Entrant in Web 2.0 Space Announces Beta Release of Web Database Software -- Just Answer Some Questions and Hit 'Build' for a Powerful Custom Database
PALO ALTO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 16, 2007 -- One Team Technologies, a Web 2.0 application provider, today
announced the beta for version 2.0 of myWebDB, the company's
online service for do-it-yourself web database applications.
myWebDB enables business users and IT staff to create applications without
any coding, interface design or previous programming experience.
myWebDB's intuitive user interface makes it one of the easiest-to-use tools
for creating enterprise-class database applications. Business users can
build sophisticated custom database applications by simply answering a
series of straightforward questions. "We created myWebDB to break down
barriers between business and technology, so that both groups in the
organization operate at the most efficient level," said Kyoko Ikemoto, One
Team's CEO and Chief Technologist. "By using myWebDB, small businesses and
workgroups inside larger companies can quickly deploy great database
applications that are much less expensive and easier to maintain than
traditional software packages."
One Team has been using myWebDB since 2004 to build software applications
for clients. Existing myWebDB systems range from an order and procurement
management system for an international engineering company to a linguistics
survey application for a non-profit organization.
"We are very satisfied with the database application that One Team built
for us and we are excited that myWebDB is now available to our business
users to build new powerful applications," said Bonnie Pedro of Te Taki,
One Team's client and beta user. "I'm currently creating an application to
manage our fundraisers. Just by answering questions about what I want, I'm
making the perfect web application for my non-profit."
