MPEX Business Solutions Inc. Receives Financial Assistance from Government of Canada

QUÉBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Aug. 27, 2013) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, today announced that the firm MPEX Business Solutions Inc. has been granted financial assistance for product development and commercialization activities.

"Supporting innovation is one of the pillars of the Government of Canada's strategy for building a high-performance, wealth-generating and job-creating economy. That is why we were unhesitating in our decision to lend financial support to MPEX Business Solutions' innovative project," said Minister Lebel.

MPEX Business Solutions Inc. designs and develops workforce management software for businesses. The company has created a family of innovative software solutions grouped together under the name "MX-SOLUTION" that allows for the integrated management of such things as human resources, productivity, employee scheduling, time tracking, and so on. The company serves a diverse clientele that includes Canadian food enterprises, oil companies and retailers, among others.

The financial contribution from Canada Economic Development will go to supporting the development and North American commercialization of MX-SOLUTION. More specifically, MPEX Business Solutions Inc. will use it to make the software available online and to promote its products. The firm also intends to create promotional materials and a Web site adapted to the American marketplace and revamp its brand identity.
