- Few respondents find intra-day reporting (5%) and publisher access for revenue reporting (15%) to be important functions of a mobile ad-server.
- 15% of respondents indicate they use an in house/custom ad server.
- iPhone, iPad and Android phone applications are the platforms that mobile web and app publishers are focusing on aggressively for monetization.

This industry-first, blind study, which Mocean Mobile commissioned, was executed and managed by industry leading third party marketing research and data analytics provider, InsightExpress. The survey was fielded from August 17th, 2011 to December 21st, 2011 and only respondents who work in mobile or digital in the ad operations, sales or technology functions were invited to participate.
