Meller Optical Substrates include sapphire, ruby, fused silica, spinel, Yag, germanium, silicon, zinc selenide, zinc sulfide, calcium fluoride, barium fluoride, magnesium fluoride, BK-7, quartz, and common laser glasses.
Manufactured to specification in sizes from 1/2" to 5" O.D. with ±0.00025" tolerance, they are offered uncoated for optical coaters or finished with reflective, anti-reflective and dual-band coatings for OEMs and end-users.
Featuring 1/10th wave flatness per inch, parallelism to 2 arc-sec, and surface finishes to 10-5 scratch-dig per MIL-PRF-13830, depending upon the material and configuration, Meller Optical Substrates can be supplied as plano-convex and -concave, biconvex and -concave, and meniscus lenses and as plane, wedged, and tapered windows and substrates.
