BRAMPTON, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 26, 2012) - On behalf of the Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Veterans Affairs, Lois Brown, Member of Parliament for Newmarket-Aurora, will join the Honourable Yonah Martin, Senator for British Columbia, and members of the Korea Veterans Association of Canada, Ontario Region, to remember the 59^th anniversary of the cessation of hostilities of the Korean War. MP Brown will lay a wreath at the cenotaph and take part in a poppy-placing ceremony.

The memorial service will include the singing of the Korean and Canadian national anthems, commemorative speeches, a wreath-laying ceremony, a poppy-placing ceremony and a march past.
