FORT SASKATCHEWAN, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - June 16, 2012) - With the success of the first year of the Learn To Camp Initiative, this year Parks Canada will add the launch of the new mobile application encouraging Canadians to experience camping.
Members of the media are invited to participate in the activities alongside Canadians living their first camping experience.
On site you will have access to a Parks Canada spokesperson, to all participants and obtain images of the application.
The event is organized by Elk Island National Park and MEC in partnership with Edmonton's Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, Scouts Canada, and the Friends of Elk Island Society.
