WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwire - Feb. 8, 2013) - In order to inspire young Canadians to build connections with Canada's natural and cultural heritage, Parks Canada implemented several initiatives, including the Youth Ambassadors Program which is currently in its recruiting phase through seminars held by Global Vision.
Parks Canada is looking for two students that have demonstrated leadership, community involvement, creativity and innovation qualities to engage their peers. Their task: to cross the country this summer in order to discover and share the beauty and history of Canada!
Tomorrow, at 10:00 am in the Great Hall of the College Building of the University of Manitoba, Members of the media will have an opportunity to attend a presentation by the Seminar's participants in order to become Parks Canada's Youth Ambassadors 2013.
These seminars are offered across the country by Global Vision.
The two Ambassadors 2012 will be available for interviews with media at the end of the presentations. Videos and photos are also available upon request.
