OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 26, 2012) - Chief Actuary Jean-Claude Ménard will host a seminar on the impact of demographic, economic and investment trends on the Canada Pension Plan at the Ottawa Convention Centre on Friday, September 28, 2012.
Speakers include:
Dr. Donald Raymond, Senior Vice-President and Chief Investment Strategist, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board will be offering the first session on the operations of the board and its investment strategy.
Jean-Pierre Aubry, Economist and Associate Fellow, CIRANO, will be giving a presentation entitled: Does the economic and financial situation of the past five years mean that we need to change our assumptions for long-term economic projections?
Peter Dungan, Adjunct Associate Professor of Business Economics, University of Toronto, Rotman School will be the final speaker of the day with his remarks on economic perspectives and real wages growth.
