The CFNU has a boat cruising the Halifax harbour in front of the hotel where the Premiers are meeting this week. It will be pulling a large floating billboard with the message, "Premiers, Prime Minister, We're Watching You. Pull Together for better Health Care!"
The Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions (CFNU) President, Linda Silas, will be present in Halifax throughout the Council of the Federation Meetings and will be available for comment.
The Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions (CFNU) is Canada's largest nurses' organization representing over 156,000 nurses. The CFNU has been advocating for national discussions on key health priorities such as long-term care, pharmacare, aboriginal health, and retention and recruitment of nurses.
