OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 11, 2012) - With a July 17, 2012 strike deadline fast approaching, nuclear experts represented by the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC) will hold a news conference and stage an information picket at Chalk River Laboratories to seek a fair settlement from their employer, Atomic Energy of Canada Limited.
These specialists operate the Chalk River reactor, conduct nuclear research and development, support CANDU nuclear power reactors in Canada and throughout the world, produce medical isotopes, and manage nuclear waste.
