PEMBROKE, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 8, 2012) - Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) National President Paul Moist will stand in solidarity with CUPE 4989 members who have been on strike since May 10, after taking action to defend the services they deliver.
Monday, June 11 will mark the first month since Ontario Works staff in the County of Renfrew started job action. These 22 members remain committed to providing services to their communities, but also remain committed to reaching a settlement that protects those services and the people who deliver them.
