KAMLOOPS, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 6, 2012) - Centre for Inquiry Canada, the nation's leading voice for atheists, skeptics and freethinkers, announces the creation of its Kamloops branch.
"We are very pleased to see our thriving Kamloops Centre for Rational Thought (KCRT) transform into the Centre for Inquiry Kamloops and ally with an influential international movement," said Bill Ligertwood, CFI Kamloops Director.
"Our work with CFI has already been tremendously fruitful, especially on the British Columbia Atheist Bus Campaign, the largest atheist advocacy project ever undertaken in BC."
"The Kamloops Centre for Rational Thought has been a beacon of freethought and science outreach in the Okanagan for three years, particularly with their annual Imagine No Religion Conference," said Justin Trottier, CFI's National Communications Director. "We look forward to grow this important gathering of leading humanist thinkers and to broaden the secular activities we provide in the region."
CFI Kamloops becomes the eleventh Canadian branch of the Centre for Inquiry.
