OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 20, 2012) - Tomorrow at 1:15 p.m. public service employees represented by the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC) will hold a rally next to the site of the new Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg to raise awareness of the impact of the federal government's ongoing attack on the public programs and services that Canadians depend on for their safety and well-being.
Institute members are scientists, health professionals, IT experts, engineers and many other professionals who are on the front lines dealing with some of the most challenging issues facing our communities and our country. Speakers will draw attention to the impact of the federal government's budget cuts including on federal facilities in Winnipeg.
