Wanda Morris, Executive Director of Dying With Dignity Canada will argue for the proposition against Dr. Moira McQueen, Executive Director of the Canadian Catholic Bioethics Institute. The event will take place on June 6 at 7:00pm at the University of Toronto.
Euthanasia and assisted suicide are back in the spotlight. This debate occurs against the backdrop of Gloria Taylor's "Right to Die" Charter Challenge, an all-party Report to the Quebec government recommending the legalization of "medical aid to die" and a Forum poll showing 67% of Canadians support legalizing assisted suicide.
