OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 27, 2012) - Giant Tiger Stores Limited announces the appointment of Greg Farrell as the company's new President and Chief Operating Officer.
Before moving to join Giant Tiger in 2000 as Director of Finance and Accounting, Greg progressed through the ranks of BDO Dunwoody until his appointment to Partnership in 1999. Greg was the professional in charge of the Giant Tiger engagement for a number of years. Greg was promoted to Vice President of Accounting and Finance in 2001 and then to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2007. Greg has also been an Officer and Director of the Company since 2000.
