OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 27, 2012) - After an outpouring of support from the local community, unprecedented in the world of retailing, we were pleased to announce in August that our Bradford Giant Tiger store would remain open until the end of January 2013. As the store was originally scheduled to close this weekend, we will instead be celebrating with a "Grand Staying Open Event" this Saturday, September 29 with speeches beginning at 10:00 am.
Don't miss it! There will be fun and entertainment for the whole family. Mascot appearances, climbing tower, free face painting, temporary tattoos, strolling entertainment, free coffee and free giveaways throughout the day. The first 100 customers on Saturday will also receive a free Giant Tiger gift card! As we continue to be connected with our community, we will be supporting the Danube Seniors' Leisure Centre with a charity BBQ hosted by Maple Lodge Farms.
