STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN and NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Jul 17, 2012) - Panopticon Software, the leading provider of visual data analysis software for real-time, complex event processing (CEP) and historical time series data, today announced that Campbell & Company, one of the top 100 commodity trading advisors (CTAs) in the world, has selected Panopticon to visually display the analytical results of OneTick. By combining the power of OneTick's analytical engine with Panopticon's data visualization tools, Campbell will be able to quickly analyze strategy performance on both their desktops and iPads through an improved customized, flexible and mobile front-end.
Campbell & Company specializes in systematic managed futures and equity market-neutral strategies and will use Panopticon to visually analyze the proprietary trading strategies it creates in OneTick, a single solution for CEP, analytics, and tick data that spans both historical and real-time. Campbell has been using OneTick across its organization since March 2011 and Campbell can now display its analyzed results with OHLC and Candlestick charts, Treemaps and Heatmaps.
Rob McBride, Director of Software Development and Research Operations at Campbell & Company, stated, "Panopticon allows us to integrate data from a variety of real time sources and visualize it in easy to use dashboards. Our researchers can gain information at a much more granular level and drill down into cross sectional time series data. These tools are critical for our continued innovation in systematic strategy development."
Richard Chmiel, Senior Vice President of OneMarketData, stated, "Campbell & Company is a long time client of OneTick and we both saw the opportunity to expand their use of the product by working with Panopticon. Given the increasingly visual and mobile world we live in, the solution was a natural one to ensure Campbell maintains its leadership position as a pioneer in the investment industry."
Chris Elsmore, Senior Vice President of Panopticon Software, added, "Campbell & Company is very selective about their technology partners; we understood that based on their choice of the OneTick system. Our new HTML5 capabilities will allow their quants and traders to perform in depth visual data analysis on any device, including iPads, smartphones and other mobile devices."
