Launch of New Resource for Managing Personal Finances

OTTAWA∩╗┐, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 24, 2012) - The Honourable Ted Menzies, Minister of State (Finance), accompanied by Ursula Menke, Commissioner of the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada, Tom Hamza, President of the Investor Education Fund, Camille Beaudoin, Director of Financial Education at l'Autorité des marchés financiers and Don Palmer, Executive Director of Causeway Work Centre, will announce a new resource to help Canadians manage their personal finances at the Causeway Work Centre on Tuesday, September 25, 2012.

The Minister will reiterate the federal government's commitment to ensuring that all Canadians have access to the information, resources and tools they need to make informed financial decisions.

The announcement will take place at 9:00 a.m. in the Causeway Work Centre Cafeteria, 22 O'Meara Street, in Ottawa, Ontario.

Representatives of each of the partner organizations will be available to the media following the event.
