OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 22, 2012) - LaBarge Weinstein LLP, a business law firm, is pleased to announce that it is expanding to British Columbia with the opening of a Vancouver office. The firm's new location will be officially up and running on September 4, 2012.

Conveniently located in downtown Vancouver, the new office will be led by industry veteran Mark Longo, who will be joining LaBarge Weinstein as a Partner from another Vancouver-based law firm. Longo has worked in corporate finance, M&A, and technology law for 20 years. During his career, he has served in General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and senior executive capacities for a number of private and publicly traded technology companies, including Intrinsyc Software International Inc., Datawire Communication Networks Inc., and Star Data Systems Inc. Longo earned a Masters of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, a Bachelor of Laws from Queen's University, and is called to the Bar in BC and Ontario.
