Tom Congdon, VP and Managing Director of Spirits, said, "Belle de Brillet has demonstrated strong acceptance during its relatively short importation within the US. With greater exposure, distribution and proper sampling it will capture even greater trade and consumer awareness and respect as we go forward."
"Belle de Brillet Liqueur enjoys a most natural fit among the unique, high quality luxury offerings found within the Kobrand portfolio," commented Robert DeRoose, Kobrand's President and CEO.

Maison Brillet has been in continuous operation for over three and half centuries initially offering single vineyard, hand-crafted, unblended cognacs using Alembic pot stills. The first vineyard was installed in 1656 and the Brillet group's expansion and holdings continued to evolve through the late 1800s. In 1920, the group started offering Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne Cognacs under the name J.R. Brillet. In 1985, a 10th generation family member and current owner Jean-Louis Brillet successfully extended the range of luxury products yet again with the global introduction of Belle de Brillet.
