Just Associates CEO Beth Just Accepted as AHIMA Fellow
CENTENNIAL, CO--(Marketwire - May 5, 2010) - Beth Just, CEO and President, Just Associates, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in patient data integrity solutions for the Health Information Management (HIM), Health Informatics and Health Information Technology (HIT) markets, has been accepted as a Fellow in the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).

An AHIMA member since 1978, Just has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including 20 years of HIM consulting. She founded Just Associates in 2002, leveraging her unique blend of HIM experience and technical expertise in database and software design and management to provide expert consultation services to healthcare organizations and vendors regarding patient identification software and HIM systems.
Just is well-known in the HIM technical arena as an authority on EMPI databases and as a healthcare software design expert. She is highly regarded as a leading industry voice, sharing her expertise with professional organizations and as a regular contributor to leading professional publications.
Just, who currently serves on the AHIMA Board of Directors, is also past co-chair of the Health Information Exchange Practice Council and a member of the "HIM Principles in HIE" and Patient Integrity workgroups. She was also recognized as a Colorado Health Information Management Association "Distinguished Member."
Prior to founding Just Associates, Just held numerous executive positions with leading healthcare organizations, including Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center, QuadraMed, Pyramid Health Group, New Era of Networks and Quality Visions, Inc.
In addition to AHIMA, Just is active in the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), including involvement in the Privacy and Security Workgroup on Identity Management. She earned her Bachelor of Arts at College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, MN and her Masters in Business Administration at the University of Colorado in Denver.
