ADDISON, IL--(Marketwired - Jul 1, 2013) - Diversified metal component manufacturer JD Norman Industries, Inc. has announced the acquisition of two subsidiaries of Federal-Mogul Corporation. The business units include a connecting rod machining operation in Windsor, Ontario and a camshaft casting foundry in Lydney, England. That transaction was finalized on June 28. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Windsor operation is a manufacturer of fully-machined connecting rods and the Lydney facility manufactures chilled iron camshaft castings. Both businesses supply engine platforms for global original equipment manufacturers in the automotive and transportation industries.
