TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 26, 2013) - A recent survey by the Florida Department of Citrus (FDOC) found that most Canadians experience moderate or higher levels of stress all year long and that a common side effect of this stress is unhealthy eating. In fact, 36 per cent of Canadians struggle to maintain a healthy diet when they are stressed and 40 per cent of Canadians say that this stress actually leads to unhealthy food choices.
March is Nutrition Month and with it comes a reminder that proper dietary decisions are crucial for Canadians.
Working with Canadians of all ages and families of all sizes in their complementary fields, the FDOC Feel Better Squad - Lydia Knorr, Emily Richards and Eva Redpath - have developed tips to help their clients maintain a healthy diet and improve their overall well-being when stressed.
