CARLSBAD, CA--(Marketwire - Aug 10, 2012) - Indra Australia is outsourcing the manufacture, assembly and test of critical elements of its Air Traffic Management (ATM) Navigation Aid systems to MVTS Technologies. Engaging MVTS to build, integrate, and test elements of its Distance Measurement Equipment (DME) and Doppler VHF Omnidirectional Range (DVOR) systems enables Indra to focus its resources on providing technology solutions and services that bring value to transportation networks and infrastructure while ensuring the ultra-high quality and reliability for which Indra are known.
As part of its globally renowned Traffic and Transport solutions, Indra provides turnkey ATM solutions that play a vital role in Air Traffic Management including Surveillance, Automation, Communications, Simulators and Navaids used at airports. MVTS Technologies, a global provider of manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and product support solutions, will assume the production of manufacturing models, units and sub-assemblies that will be incorporated into Indra systems.
